Data Privacy Statement of La-Well Systems GmbH — a company of CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA

This data privacy statement applies to the website and www.elvi.de .
The browser-based software CGM ELVI is not affected by this statement since it involves one’s own web application.

We, La-Well Systems GmbH, located at Hartwig-Mildenberg-Str. 5-9, 32257 Bünde (hereafter referred to as “La-Well”), are pleased about your visit to our internet site and your interest in our company as well as our products and services. The protection of your personal data is a very important concern to us and we would like you to feel safe during your visit to our internet site. In the rest of this document, we will be presenting to you what information we will be capturing at La-Well during your visit to our internet pages and how it will be used.

Scope

This data privacy statement applies to the web pages of La-Well Systems GmbH. It does not apply to possible links that are connected to outside companies.

Personal data

Personal data are particulars about the personal or factual relationships of a defined or determinable natural person. Included is such information as your name, your address, and your telephone number. Information that is not directly associated with your real-life identity — such as preferred internet pages or number of users of a page — are not personal data.

Capture and processing of personal data

If you visit our internet pages, our web servers routinely store the connection details of the requesting computer temporarily for purposes of system security, the web pages of ours that you are visiting, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser used and the operating system type as well as the website from which you are visiting us. The additional personal information like your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not captured unless these disclosures were made by you voluntarily, e.g. in the course of a registration, a survey, to execute a contract or to request information.

Use and forwarding of personal data

We will use the personal data made available by you exclusively for the technical administration of the web pages and fulfill your wishes and demands — in other words, as a rule, to implement the contract we have concluded with you or to respond to your inquiry. Only if you have conveyed your consent or if you — to the extent legal regulations permit this — have not offered an objection, we will use these data also for product-related surveys and marketing purposes.
The duration of the storage of these data depends on their intended use. We will store contractual data only as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the contractual relationship (we will always inform you about the particulars when the contract is concluded) or we are legally obliged to do so. We will keep data that were collected and processed on the basis of your consent only as long as your consent remains effective.
Forwarding, sale or other transmission of your personal data to third parties will not occur unless this is necessary for the purpose of contract fulfillment or you have expressly consented to it. In other words, it can be necessary for us to pass on your address and order data to our distribution partners. The recipients of these data will be identified to you in the order confirmation.

There is no transfer to a third country.

Information from the Group

La-Well, as a CGM company, would gladly get in touch with you in order to inform you about offers and other news about our products and services. If you register on our internet page, we will therefore ask you to tell us whether you would like to receive direct advertising messages from us.

Use of cookies

We only use necessary cookies on our website. Necessary cookies make a website usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The functions of the website can be limited without these cookies. By using the website, you accept these necessary cookies. The use of optional cookies, e.g. tracking cookies, is excluded.

Referrals to external internet pages (links)

We, La-Well, as operator of the website, have no influence on the configuration as to content of the linked external websites. These were carefully checked before the links were activated. However one cannot rule out the possibility that the operators of the respective pages subsequently undertook changes in content that violate current law or our philosophy.
Links to external websites that are shown on our website can, if applicable, collect user data if you click on them or otherwise follow their instructions. We have no control over the data that are gathered, willingly or not, via the ads or websites of third parties. In general, we recommend looking at the data privacy provisions (“privacy policies”) of websites, if you have concerns about the gathering and use of their data.

Security

La-Well meets all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. Thus, your data will be stored in a secure operational environment that is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data will be encrypted during transmission through so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). That means that communications between your computer and La-Well’s servers will take place using a recognized encryption procedure, as long as your browser supports SSL. Should you wish to contact La-Well by e-mail, note that the confidentiality of the transmitted information cannot be ensured. The content of e-mails can be looked at by third parties. We therefore recommend having confidential information sent to us exclusively via postal mail.

Your Rights

You have the right to information about the data stored under your name as well as rights to correct, limit the processing of, contradict, or delete these data as well as have them put into transferable form.
If you convey your consent to La-Well Systems GmbH, you have the right to revoke it at any time with effect going forward. We commit ourselves to delete all data collected on you. However, in so doing, we are legally obligated to abide by possible commercial or tax-related retention periods that could prevent an immediate deletion of these data. If these reasons affect the deletion, we will inform you.
In addition, you have the right to complain to the data privacy regulatory authority if you are of the opinion that we are not processing your personal data correctly.
